Immerse

Immerse is a monthly electronic music night that takes place in the basement of Annabell's in the Highland Square area of Akron, Ohio. It is a trendy part of town, but what makes this venue and night interesting is the legacy it holds within the electronic music community. For 7 years, a collective known at Tek-Know? threw a Wednesday night non-stop, and it has become the stuff of legend. When designing the materials for this opportunity, I wanted to embrace the "Golden Age" of the late 90's and early 2000s with cartoony 'rave' imagery and vibrant, energetic pastel colors. I will continue to pay homage to the midwestern electronic music scene while injecting themes from the future and present as well. The sky is the limit with this project creatively and I really enjoy that.
